Spotted Orbweaver - Neoscona crucifera

My first Spotted Orbweaver of the season.  We don't have these on the front awning this year.  I suspect that it is because in order to bring down our electricity bill we are not turning on the porch lights at night.  No bugs drawn to the light equals no meal ticket for the spiders.
