Flower Mimic Spider - Misumena vatia

I was thrilled to find Flower Mimic Spiders in force at the Jamaica Bay Wildlife Refuge in Queens on my very first visit.  A friend had gotten me a macro lens on loan And I had a ball.  These flower mimics can actually change their body color to match the flower they find themselves stationed on.  They can change from white to yellow and vice verse to better camouflage themselves.  They are beautiful don't you think?  And much more common than one would think.
